Michelin North America, Inc., which employs over 22,000 people and operates multiple tire manufacturing facilities, is seeking a Product Design and Industrialization Engineer with a passion for Innovation and Design to join its Michelin Americas Research and Development Center, located in Greenville, South Carolina.
What You Will Do
  • Define the technical specifications to manufacture tire models, meeting performance targets while accounting for industrial standards and constraints.
  • Improve the tire design and manufacturing process, applying tools like root cause analysis, prototyping through the creation and deployment of new or updated tools and work methods.
  • Provide technical support to the factories, throughout the tire life cycle, to ensure design robustness.
  • Opportunity to travel to multiple facilities in North America and other geographic zones (Europe, Asia, South America)
  • Identify and manage the associated risks for meeting the quality, timing, and cost targets of the industrialized tire.
What You Will Bring

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Associate Technical Degree with 5 years in a related technical position
