Procurement And Supply Chain Manager

Exeter Building Company is hiring a full time Procurement and Supply Chain Manager to grow our luxury custom home business and will report directly to the Chief Operating Officer.

This individual will be responsible for:

• Preparing and owning project specific budgets
• Communicating with clients
• Managing trade partners / vendors and supply chain
• Identifying opportunities for improvement
• Pricing customer change orders
• Bidding and estimating project costs

Candidates must have a demonstrated record of success in growing and developing businesses, exceeding business objectives and demonstrating value. The position is based in Raleigh and requires face to face interactions with clients, trade partners, and others. We are looking for a motivated high integrity leader who will make our business better.

The individual will be working with high net worth individuals and must be able to quickly establish trust and enable them to build confidently with Exeter. Our transactions can be very complex and it will be this person’s responsibility to manage these complex transactions, communicate with clarity and simplify the discussion.

Skills required include but are not limited to:

• Undergraduate degree
• Strong management and organization skills
• Experience in custom residential projects
• Experience in job estimating and pricing
• Purchasing experience in the residential home market
• Specific experience with project management software, such as Buildertrend, Co-Construct, etc.
• Goal oriented and hard working
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
