Key Responsibilities and Job Elements:

• Drives and executes standard work in the areas of Safety, Quality and Productivity to meet daily operational goals and deliver customer promises
• Support daily management of department duties, including allocating labor, leading meetings, assigning job duties and communicating with internal and external suppliers.
• Escalates barriers to Operations leaders.
• Collaborate with all support teams including Safety, Ops Integration, Loss Prevention and Human Resources to develop plans to meet business objectives
• Support, mentor, and motivate others

For this role, you will need to be:

• Work in an environment where the noise level varies and is subject to variable temperatures and weather (delivery stations include outside loading departments, and grocery locations include refrigerated environments)
• Able to lift 49 pounds, stand and walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach, as well as continuously climb and descend stairs
• Able to work a primary schedule of Wed thru Sat nights from 20:00 to 06:30 (BHN schedule)
• Able to work 40 hours/week, and overtime as required
• At least 18 years old, and authorized to work in the United States

• Experience with performance metrics and lean process improvement
• 1+ year working in a like environment (manufacturing/distribution/warehousing/retail)
• 1+ year of leadership experience directly managing others
• Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills to coach, train and assist team members
