Job Description

The Registered Nurse / RN will work within the Pre-Surgical Testing Dept., which is responsible for preparing, in advance, all patients scheduled for an operative procedure. The Mission of Pretesting is to completely prepare and clear all patients scheduled for surgery prior to their admission date and prevent surgery cancellations and delays.

This position is for Preop Holding. The Registered Nurse / RN's responsibility is to ensure the patient is prepped for surgery in a timely manner making sure all appropriate pre-op testing has been completed.

Hours:

  • 0600-1430, 0630-1500, 1000-1830
  • PRN

Requirements:

  • Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Maryland
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or currently enrolled within 6 months of hire
  • Must have a minimum of one year experience
