Visiting Angels is looking for a Special Caregiver to join our team and work with a client located in Malibu. The Caregiver is responsible for the physical care and emotional support of this client during his day to day. Caregiver must be familiar with cancer and the effects of chemotherapy.

The ideal candidate must be able to care for him and his home with dignity, patience, compassion, and respect. This person will encourage and remain empathetic to the clients at all times.

Responsibilities:

• Home assistance – Provide light housekeeping, prepare meals, and provide personal assistance with general living needs. Personal services will include help with diapers and cleanliness, bathing, feeding and daily grooming.
• Companionship – Provide companionship and conversation by stimulating, encouraging and assisting the client.
• This case has the opportunity to grow in hours with the right person!

Requirements:

• Must be on the Caregiver Registry or able to get on the registry before starting
• Ability to reach, bend, kneel and stand for (sometimes) a long period of time
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds at a time
• Must be able to complete a Criminal Background report.

The rate of pay for this case $17 per hour plus any overtime. The days can be flexible as to your needs but the shift time must be 7a-7p. Need someone for 2-3 days per week. Please give us a call if this sounds like the perfect fit for you. Need someone to start immediately!
