Prior Authorization Specialist Jobs

Central Care Cancer Center is hiring a Prior Authorization Specialist to join their team in Garden City, KS.

The Prior Authorization Specialist will work closely with the clinical staff and billing department. Candidates must have excellent communication, organization and follow-up skills with the ability to handle multiple assignments simultaneously. Candidates should demonstrate good judgement as well as attention to detail while working well with a team.

Essential Functions

• Track patient referrals
• Submit insurance authorizations
• Meet with patients and set up financial agreements
• ​Verify patient insurance benefits

Other Qualifications

• Must be willing to travel for initial training.
• Spanish speaking a plus.
• ​Microsoft Word and Excel experience required.
• Must be qualified to participate in Federal Health Programs, including Medicare/Medicaid.
