We are seeking a Principal Program Manager to help our team tackle some of our most complex problems. Our Core Services team, of which you’d be a part, is charged with solutions which improve engineering and financial efficiencies, increasing availability of mission-critical services, delivering critical outcomes like expanding Entra’s suite of capabilities into new geographies. Collectively our programs have a large and enduring impact across the Entra organization.

We are looking for a well-rounded Principal Program Manager with a proven ability to drive complex programs across Entra and can engage with business and technical leaders at all levels. You are an authority on managing projects and programs, driving prioritization with product and engineering, and delivering effective execution and communication. You can take large, complex opportunities and break them down into manageable pieces, negotiate tradeoffs against technical constraints and develop functional requirements. Successful candidates will have a technical background, be driven to detail and have excellent problem-solving ability.

This opportunity reports to the Principal Program Management lead for Entra’s expansion into new geographies. You will lead the efforts around expanding Entra’s suite of capabilities into new geographies.

Responsibilities

  • Define the program goals, OKRs and prioritization including success criteria and performance metrics.
  • Run programs which deliver technological outcomes. You know what it takes to build, operate, and evolve services which operate at high scale on cloud infrastructure.
  • Manage execution, prioritization, and reporting progress against the identified program metrics.
  • Act as a technical advisor to teams and create relationships to drive orchestration and integration efforts for large and highly complex cross functional programs with internal teams and external partners. Influences leadership on objectives.
  • Identify and own highly complex technical programs with an ability to conduct technical discussions with engineering and product teams related to architecture and design.
  • Drive risk management for all programs, collaborate with teams and stakeholders to define risk mitigation plans and track execution against the same.

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree AND 6+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • OR equivalent experience.
  • 6+ years of experience running complex technical programs across multiple organizations and stakeholders.
  • 3+ years of experience with software development lifecycles from conception to delivery.
Other Requirements:
  • Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and/or government security screening requirements is required for this role. Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • A solid foundation in service-oriented and web-service technologies so that you can understand service interdependence and drive toward technical solutions for multi-tiered systems.
  • Bachelor's Degree AND 10+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development
    • o OR equivalent experience.
  • 8+ years experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
  • O OR equivalent experience.
  • Excellent communications skills, comfortable presenting to large audiences and customers.
  • Experience working in the Identity and/or Security technology domains is a plus.

Technical Program Management IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $133,600 - $256,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $173,200 - $282,200 per year.
