Job Title: Principal Data Science (multiple openings)

Job Location: Riverwoods, Illinois

Job Type: Full Time

Duties: Work closely with management to execute analytical initiatives. Provide thought leadership and strategic thinking to solve business problems by leveraging techniques such as segmentation, optimization, advanced analytics and machine learning. Telecommuting and/or working from home may be permissible pursuant to company policies.

Requirements: Employer will accept a bachelor’s degree or a foreign equivalent degree Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Information Technology, Engineering (Any), or a related field and 6 years of experience in Manager; Senior Consultant; Consultant; Associate Consultant; Software Associate or related occupation.

Position required skills: Six (6) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or related occupation: Utilizing Amazon Web Services (AWS) and cloud-based technologies to support data engineering work in the cloud; Working with Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) tools and technologies, including Ab lnitio, Python, EMR, and Spark development; Performing enterprise data governance, metadata management, data architecture, and master data management activities; Utilizing database technologies, including Snowflake, Redshift, and Teradata environments; Scheduling jobs using IBM Scheduler, Control-M cloud-based scheduling, or event driven processes; Working with complex processes and providing innovative solutions to delivery pipelines; Performing UNIX shell scripting; and Utilizing platforms, including Open Shift, Kubernetes, and Docker.

Position eligible for incentives under Employee Referral Program

Rate of Pay: The base pay for this position generally ranges between $123,500.00 to 173,100.00. Additional incentives may be provided as part of a market competitive total compensation package. Factors, such as but not limited to, geographical location, relevant experience, education, and skill level may impact the pay for this position.
