Essential Obligations

• Include a welcoming, engaging teaching atmosphere that satisfies the specific requirements of each age group.
• Share resources with other educators and staff to achieve a smooth transition between the two year groups.
• Lead the way in teaching both Year 5 and Year 6 students in a split class by developing interesting, individualised lessons.
• Promote creative thinking and a feeling of curiosity in children, helping them develop into autonomous learners.

Basic Requirement For a Teacher Of a Split Class

• A solid knowledge of the Year 5–6 curriculum and the capacity to modify teaching methods according to the needs of each group.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to create connections with teachers, parents, and coworkers.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)/PGCE and teaching experience in both Year 5 and Year 6.
• Excellent classroom management abilities, upholding a courteous and stimulating learning environment.
• A sincere desire to inspire and empower young learners via education.
