DESCRIPTION

The Angela Day School is hiring a Primary Montessori Guide to co-lead a mixed age preschool/kindergarten for 3 to 6 year old children. The class is a Spanish bilingual Montessori class that blends Montessori pedagogical practices* with Reggio and Waldorf-inspired teaching practices in a culturally sustaining and nature based learning environment. While Spanish language fluency is preferred, it is not a requirement. The Primary Guide will help to develop the Montessori classroom and curriculum while also providing support to the Montessori co-teacher in training. The ADS primary program includes a nature based learning block in the afternoon. For interested applicants, the position can be either full time or part-time depending on applicant preference.

SALARY

Full Time Employee Position

The position is a salaried full-time position with a yearly starting salary aligned with our salary scale. The salary scale is aligned with experience and education level. In some instances, salary is negotiable. Medical, dental, life, and disability benefits are included. The full time position begins once the school is operational August 21, of 2023.

Part-Time Position

If so preferred, the part time position will be from 8am - 12pm, Monday - Friday. Salary will be commensurate with the salary scale. As a part time position, benefits are not included. The position begins August 21, 2023.
