What we need:

Brady Corp is seeking a Pricing Analyst who will support the Pricing Manager with analysis, insight and implementation of category pricing strategies for an assigned set of products, while also identifying opportunities for revenue and profit optimization. Develop, implement and review the pricing strategy for the category in collaboration with the Product Management and Sales Teams.

This position will dynamically manage pricing for the Seton & Emedco businesses and presents an opportunity to contribute to the overall profitability of the business by supporting our sales and channel teams with pricing analysis and timely insights on product line performance.


What you’ll be doing:

  • Responsible for analyzing price performance data and generating insights.
  • Maintain competitor product matching lists.
  • Support cross functional pricing initiatives, including influencing the Discounts, Quotes and Tender processes.
  • Validate and challenge cost prices changes.
  • Perform competitive analysis and report on Competitive Price metrics across the business
  • Manage Product Lifecycle pricing.
  • Identify the right price position for new technologies and products
  • Report on pricing/margin performance by product line as determined by product and industry marketing.
  • Establish a good working relationship with Customer Service, Sales, Channel and Product Marketing teams.
  • Maximize revenue and profit through the application of strategic pricing levers and revenue management techniques.
  • Model, analyze and implement the US category pricing strategies.
  • Maintain up to date Brady list prices.


What you’ll need to be successful:

  • Bachelor’s degree in economics, mathematics, finance, or related field
  • Ability to work without close supervision.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities and willingness to assist teammates in reaching overall objectives.
  • Accuracy, attention to detail, problem solving, and strong decision-making skills.
  • General knowledge of SAP, Salesforce.com and expert-level skills in Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to articulate complex data and insights to a diverse audience either verbally or via written communication.
