Press Operator Jobs

Full Time / Monday through Thursday / 10 hour shifts / Pay Starting at $20.39hr

Essential Functions of the Job:

• Operate a powered industrial truck to move materials and equipment
• Occasionally use hand and power tools to saw, bend cut or drill from materials
• Frequently operate brake press to fabricate steel sheets of metal
• Occasionally use a two-man lift of material weighing more than 50-lbs
• Occasionally perform preventive maintenance
• Requires constant standing, occasional stooping to retrieve various metals from a table and carry to table, frequent forward reach
• Frequently lifts and carries 50-lbs of raw parts
• Frequently operate an overhead crane and/or hoist to load/unload material by pushing/pulling as the load is suspended

Requirements

Job Knowledge, Education and Experience:

• Able to read blueprints
• Read Tape Measure & Protractor
• Must be willing to work overtime when necessary
• Good attendance record
• Able to lift/carry up to 50-lbs
• Proficient with hand tools
• Safety conscious
• Self-motivated
• Crane certified
