Job Description

Merriman's Honolulu is Hiring Prep Cooks!

Having a chef as founder and owner of our restaurants makes Merriman’s a fantastic kitchen for anyone who loves to cook and is looking for a career in food service!

Not only do we work with the best ingredients, local farmers and ranchers, we also use the very best cooking techniques and will train!

Pay & Benefits:

  • Holiday pay: All BOH employees receive time-and-a-half for working Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s Eve
  • Base Pay: $18 - $22/hr to start depending on experience.
  • 4% service charge on food is allocated 100% to hourly kitchen employees.
  • Kitchen service charge: Approx. $8-$8.50/hr on top of base pay for total pay of $26+ per hour.
  • 4-day work weeks available
  • PTO: Accrue up to 40 hours during years 1 and 2, 80 hours after year 3 and 120 hours after year 4.
  • Total pay of $26+ per hour
