Job Purpose:
Production and execution of food products that are the highest quality and consistency and ready to serve in a timely manner in a high-volume high production kitchen.
Maintain a clean and safe workstation.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Experience:
At least 1 year of experience in a fast-paced high-volume kitchen
Familiarity in cold prep/garde manger, grill and sauté stations a plus
Education and certification:
Strong written and verbal understanding of English
Serve-Safe Certification a plus
Specialized knowledge:
Must be able to read menus, orders/tickets, and recipes in English
Basic knowledge and use of kitchen equipment
Basic knowledge of safety and sanitation
Skills:
Good knife skills
Basic knowledge of proper cooking techniques
Character:
Models and Participates in teamwork at all times
Motivated to excel
Positive attitude, open to constructive feedback
Respectful to and mindful of all managers and staff in department, on property and within company
Acts as an agent to prioritize guest and staff satisfaction
Physical:
Ability to bend, stoop, stand for long periods of time
Lift up to 50 pounds
Push carts weighing up to 150 pounds
Ability to work in hot conditions for long periods

- Follow standard operating procedures for food handling and sanitation
- Work in an organized manner to ensure for timely preparation and service of food
- Food Production
- Maintain a clean and safe work station
- Cross-train to work in all venues and stations
- Store foods properly- Rotate and date product, follow storage guidelines for raw food and follow first-in first-out procedures
- Continually produce a consistent product
- Safety and Sanitation
- Produce high quality food that adhere to the RLI standards
Experience:
