Infrastructure Cloud Computing & Security Technical Specialist

We are currently hiring a Technical Specialist to join our ICS practice to support our growth in NTT DATA Services.

The ideal candidate will be located in Mexico.

Responsible for demonstrating to customers technology solutions and value propositions to facilitate the selling of complex services. This would typically be a limited number of the company’s solutions that are strategic in nature. Typically specializes in a single solution or technology. Generally not account-assigned; called into accounts as opportunities are identified and may work with account-assigned sales leads or account managers to close sale. May manage and coordinate the sales and technical team in support of the sale of the company’s services. May also be called on as a technical expert to develop and present sales proposals and systems solutions, and assist in or close complex technical sales. International travel will be required.

Role Responsibilities

  • Develop and articulate ICS value messaging.
  • Lead the technical qualification of opportunities and create appropriate funnel for Infrastructure Services in both existing & new accounts.
  • Serve as a bridge between presales conversations and PA/TA & Business Development engagements for technical consistency.
  • Build collaboration with industry sales teams and create win-win (shared target) engine effectively
  • Guide the pursuit team in the development of differentiated solutions, solution strategy, and win themes.
  • Deliver presales discussions/workshops with customer stakeholders to shape future state vision.
  • Promote innovation and out of the box thinking when engaging with our Solution teams.
  • Act as a voice of the customer/market and provided realistic feedback to Solutioning based on experience and customer needs
  • Identify and ensure NTT DATA solution approach is aligned to desired customer business outcomes
  • Navigate the internal sales support ecosystem.
  • Act as the ICS pursuit team leader for medium complexity opportunities.
  • Speak to market trends and 3rd Party advisor messaging (Gartner, Forester, ISG, Everest)

Requirements

  • Experience or familiarity with the ITIL framework.
  • Strong customer interface skills – communication & ability to lead client interactions
  • 10+ years combined experience in business development, proposing and selling Infrastructure Services, IT consulting and System Integration & Cloud Computing.
  • Ability to create, collaborate, guide and demand required solutions with global teams and present to customers confidently
  • Experience working with VPs, CxOs and Sr. Directors in a cross-functional manner through thought leadership and customer understanding
  • 5+ years of current experience in Consulting or IT Operations in one or more of Datacenter Services & Operations, Cloud Computing, End-User computing, or Enterprise Service Management
  • Good understanding or familiarity with technology and solution orientation with pre-sales and target based selling experience
  • Familiarity with Managed Services, Industry trends, Consulting and/or Best Shore Infrastructure Delivery Models
  • Technical Pre-sales and/or target based selling experience.
  • Ability to Ability to Negotiate/Close in the sales cycle
  • Good understanding of technology, delivery process in global delivery model
  • Strong leadership skills – ability to influence and drive remote and matrixed pursuit teams
