Practical Nurse Extern Jobs

The Practical Nurse Extern program offers senior PN nursing students a 6-month program in which the Extern will be immersed in the role of a professional nurse. Externs will work side-by-side with a nursing staff providing hands-on patient care and developing clinical reasoning skills necessary for quality patient care delivery. This externship will provide opportunities in a variety of clinical specialties and with a diverse patient population. These areas include senior care and rehab, dialysis and correctional medicine. The Nurse Extern will be required to spend time in each of these clinical areas in a way that is flexible and works around their school schedule.
