Powerbi Analyst Jobs

CornerStone technology Talent Services is currently seeking a PowerBI Analyst with strong abilities in using Power BI and Business Objects to provide data analysis and report viewing. This is a permanent position, and candidates must be able to commute to the office in Corinth, TX, 5 days a week.

Term: Full Time, Direct Hire

Location: Onsite, Corinth, TX

Responsibilities:

• Provide ad hoc query and reporting to business requests, as needed.
• Interface with Business Units, Client Services Desk, vendor and other IT areas to develop reporting solutions.
• Assist manager in developing/revising and documenting policies and procedures for supporting data governance and reporting best practices.
• Comply with established CoServ Information Security Handbook, policies, procedures, and guidelines including reporting suspected information security incidents to Tech Support.
• Use a variety of data management tools and methods to access data from a variety of sources such as Oracle, MS SQL server and IBM DB2.
• Comply with established CoServ safety and operating rules, procedures and guidelines including reporting unsafe practices to a supervisor.
• Create and run SQL queries in order to analyze data and develop solutions.
• Provide great service and technical support of issues, including data validation and maintaining reporting accuracy.

Minimum Requirements:

• Knowledge of SSIS, SSRS and Azure Data Factory.
• Ability to create and execute SQL queries.
• Proficiency using Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Visio, OneNote).
• Experience in Business Objects Designer for creating and maintaining universes, WEBI, Derived tables, @functions and schemas.
• Must have and maintain a valid Texas driver's license.
• Must be local to North, NW Dallas and can commute to the office in Corinth, TX
• Experience in Power BI, developing reports and dashboards.
• 3+ years of experience with PowerBI and Business Objects
• Documented US Citizenship or Permanent Resident Status
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Analytics, Management Information Systems or, Business Computer Information Systems or equivalent experience.
