: The Client partnering with the Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT) is seeking one full-time resource to perform duties as a Power Platform Developer.
The State needs this resource to design and develop Power Platform applications to automate an existing manual workflow for MnDOT Office of Transit and Active Transportation Procurements (OTAT) staff and external users. The resource should understand how to develop and integrate PowerApps, Power Automate, Dataverse, and one of the following (.NET, JAVA, C#) for custom coding using industry standards and best practices. The resource is expected to serve as a Power Platform subject matter expert and provide knowledge transfer to the client developers.
The State needs a working application for OTAT procurement workflows:

• Canvas App for OTAT staff use.
• Dataverse to store data.
• Power Pages for external users:
• Save work in progress to resume later.
• Attachment upload.
• Submittal history of all forms and attachments.
• Form templates.
• Power BI for reports and dashboard for staff use.
• Power Automate to automate workflows.

In addition, there is potential for additional work outside of the OTAT applications to be determined at the discretion of the State of Minnesota.
At a high level, the resource will design the overall architecture, develop, and integrate PowerApps (Canvas App and Power Pages) with Power Automate, Power BI, and Dataverse.
The work is expected to be done remotely.
Tasks

• Development in Power Automate.
• Development in Dataverse.
• Create Power BI reports / dashboards.
• Provide knowledge transfer.
• Development in Canvas App.
• Development in Power Pages.
• Ensure all development meet company and performance requirements.
• Liaise with developers to improve applications and establish best practices.

Minimum Qualifications

• Microsoft (MS) Infopath development experience substitutes for one year.
• Microsoft (MS) Flow development experience substitutes for one year.
• Three (3) years' experience in Microsoft (MS) Power Automate development.
• Three (3) years' experience in Microsoft (MS) PowerApps development.
• Two (2) years' experience in JAVA or .NET or C# development.

Desired Skills

• Two (2) engagements with each lasting more than six (6) months in Dataverse Developer role.
• Experience in other Power Platform components.
• Experience in mentoring other developers on Power Automate and PowerApps OR new programming language or framework.
• Two (2) engagements with each lasting more than six (6) months in PowerApps Developer role.
