Job Description
Position:
Post Coordinator at Big Indie Pictures (Big Indie IMDb), a NYC based Film & Television Production Company.
Starting salary & benefits:
Starting Salary and Benefits: $52,000 annual salary + PTO (vacation, holidays, personal days) + Health Benefits (medical, dental, vision).
Primary responsibilities:
Provide support for our post executive in administering post production on our projects.
Work with the various studio departments (production, post, legal, studio) across all projects to assist with the delivery process, for example: set up delivery calls, track and organize deliverables, work with studio credit and legal departments to submit any applicable forms to the WGA, DGA, and other unions and/or guilds, etc. Involvement in both the production services and development arms of the company.
Required job experience and skill sets:
Excellent communication skills and an ability to work well as a team member.
Excellent multitasking skills and good organization - you will be working across multiple projects at once. Must be a self-starter with the ability to take tasks through to completion. Prior Production and/or Post experience: on set or in production or post offices. Must have a basic understanding of the forms and processes required from prep to production to post.

Big Indie personnel are all from the physical production arena, including Producing, LP, POC, Key Accounting, Post accounting, and the like. Our offices are currently located in Midtown Manhattan.
Ideal candidates for this position would be:
Past work as a Producer's Assistant, physical production, and/or in house assistant work with production company a plus. Someone who is looking for a new job opportunity at a growth focused company, and/or a lifestyle change from freelance work to an "in house" position with a predictable work schedule and income. Preferably someone who is NY based.
