Podcast Coordinator Jobs

Our client is looking for someone to coordinate the end-to end production of podcast episodes across their expanding library. You will work with stakeholders of various levels to define and deliver high-quality podcast content. This role supports the production queue for external providers of podcast content. This consists of gathering from internal and external resources all elements needed to produce a product and prioritizing products in the production workflow based on input from the in-house team. This requires daily review, maintenance, and communication. The Podcast Coordinator troubleshoots issues with internal and external stakeholders, editorial, and social media.

In this role you will need to be a problem-solver, adept communicator, and genuinely passionate about growing the podcast audience while also prioritizing the listener experience and the work of podcast series creators. You will be a part of a team passionate about developing a diverse slate of original and curated podcast programming.

Skills:

• Partnering with internal teams to understand target audiences
• Being responsible for the editorial and production integrity of the shows/series
• Anticipating the scheduling, quality, and other issues that may arise-and mitigating risk and delays
• Coordinating all audio and video assets generated for the podcast
• Managing multiple, concurrent, cross-functional projects for quick content turnaround
• Supporting other multimedia projects as necessary with organizational, and production support
• Monitoring podcast data; creating PowerPoint and Excel summaries highlighting podcast performance
• Coordinating all aspects of shows/series from conception to production including research, scheduling guests, ordering and coordinating equipment selection and delivery, prepping for and coordinating pre-interviews, writing collateral materials, contributing to scripts and to planning out the structure of the story/episode/series
• Working with external stakeholders such as illustrators, production companies, and podcast platforms and with internal marketing teams such as design, web, and social media to help create promotion materials for each series and/or episodes
