You also have:


  • 0 - 5 years of experience in program management and leadership role.
  • Capable of soliciting and accurately documenting process flows and business requirements
  • Ability to effectively lead meetings, set agenda, document minutes, and monitor/track key deliverables, attended by multiple stakeholders, and SMEs across multiple business units, product lines or business processes
  • Proficient in project management tools such as Microsoft Project as well as Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, SharePoint).
  • Analyzes and reports project status and research information; monitors project performance to maintain the quality of services, deliverables, and content in accordance with PMO standards
  • Ability to support the needs of and interact appropriately with cross-functional personnel.
  • Exhibits self-confidence.
  • Works on other portions of projects as directed
  • Develops documentation; monitors and reports project status; assesses the effectiveness and accuracy of documentation
  • Maintains constructive and cooperative working relationships.
  • Effective problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and presentation skills are required.
  • Possesses sensitivity and acts appropriately with varying cultural societies.
  • Supports projects relating to change initiatives impacting multiple businesses unites, product lines, or business processes
  • Provides advanced analytical support for change initiatives
  • Actively manages the work efforts of multiple functional resources through the project plan
  • Familiarity with basic structured project management methodologies (e.g., Critical Path).
  • Possesses basic business financial knowledge.
  • Maintains reporting relationships with project stakeholders including team members, peers, managers, customers, vendors, and other affected departments to coordinate efforts across multiple business units
  • New product development experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, mathematics or related field.
  • Responsible for significant contributions to the design, development and completion of project deliverables
  • Identify and eliminate obstacles to solution plans, business goals or implementation
  • Familiarity with basic manufacturing processes and production planning.


What You’ll Do


As a PMO, you’ll be part of our Global Tools & Storage team located in Towson.


Specifically, you’ll:


  • Follows standardized guidelines and templates to ensure robust project plans and maintains documentation as required by the stage-gate development process.
  • Understands what program success is and drives path forward to achieve success in most timely and cost effective manner.
  • Demonstrates high level of understanding of manufacturing processes and technologies used to produce a product.
  • Participates on cross-functional teams to work seamlessly across boundaries of company, culture, and geography for successful project execution.
  • Demonstrates basic knowledge of tools and techniques in the fields of program and project management. Adheres to new product development processes.
  • Collaborates with cross functional team to develop timing and action plan for project. Coordinates with senior program managers to ensure dependencies and critical path are identified and communicated.
  • Challenges and provides constructive mitigation strategies.
  • Prepares project status and risks to manager with proper level of detail and recover plans.
  • Develops and maintains timing and action plan for projects of moderate scope with guidance from senior PMs.
  • Under supervision will support or lead projects whose level of innovation and technology is existing or proven and contains higher risk, complexity and capital spend.
  • Incorporates consumer and market insights as a driver of innovation and project execution.
  • Coordinates necessary data acquisition to provide strategic direction for solving problems.
  • Applies technical knowledge and understanding to day-to-day decision making.
  • Monitors project P&L and key drivers that affect overall program financial health ensuring projects meet established objectives (e.g. margins, costs, revenue).
  • Supports cadence and techniques to run efficient meetings.
  • Identifies problems, conducts root-cause analysis, and implements solution using a systematic approach.
  • Partners with development and delivery organizations to participate in consensus on new product development (NPD), productivity and product maintenance.
  • Collaborates with team members to identify project risks and recommend potential mitigation plans.
  • Builds extensive cross-functional knowledge of business operations to effectively manage risks, coordinate project activities and make appropriate decisions.
  • Follows best practices to attain project scope excellence to cross functional team – clarity of vision, goals and expectations.
