THE ROLE YOU WILL PLAY:


Plant Manager to run the day-to-day operations, including all aspects of fabrication, production, and warehouse operations


Provide leadership to the entire plant, including safety, quality, maintenance, shipping, receiving and production.


Managing plant financials, budgeting and cost control. Adhering to key management and performance indicators/drivers


Achieving Plant Profitability objectives


Developing plans for efficient use of materials, machines, and employees


Reviewing production costs and product quality, and modifies production and inventory control programs to maintain and enhance profitable operation of plant


Working directly with customers and suppliers, with a strong customer focus


Developing and implement lean manufacturing principles and demonstrates ability to overcome obstacles

BACKGROUND PROFILE:


Extensive Experience in Manufacturing, Leadership and Change Implementation


Bachelor's degree in engineering, business or related field of study, plus at least a minimum of 10 years related experience managing plant operations


Experience Running a plant with at least two different product lines.


Experience working in a matrix structure.


Experience in constructing ERP systems - standard costing - planning parameters


Experience growing a manufacturing operation through non-organic growth - new product


Experience developing and driving a culture of quality, safety and continuous improvement.
