ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Executes rough cut capacity reports, monitors, and adjusts work flow at production work centers.
• Communicates forecast inaccuracies to Product Demand to resolve potential customer service problems.
• Interacts with planner/schedulers on reschedules or customer order expedites.
• Safety is an integral part of each employee's responsibility. Stop work if continuing is unsafe or will create and unsafe condition.
• Coordinates with Production Inventory Control with respect to new production introduction.
• Measures service level for master schedule of finished goods and customer orders.
• Identifies opportunities to improve the scheduling process and informs supervisor.
• Review and act upon master schedule messages and resolve exceptions.
• Accomplish/perform work assignments from beginning to end with minimal supervision.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

• Acts with the utmost integrity, professionalism and positive attitude.
• Must possess P/C skills, the ability to interpret computer reports, have good analytical skills, and demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively with others.
• Experience on a computerized master scheduling system and the ability to communicate effectively to various departments as required.
• Must be a team player.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• APICS Certification or affiliation a plus.
• Bachelors degree or equivalent credit hours in a related field of study.
• Three (3) to five (5) years minimum of planning experience
