Job Description
PeopleReady Skilled Trades is seeking experienced Pipefitter Helpers for projects throughout the Charleston Area. The contractors we work with are seeking individuals with unique skills that can help deliver on the high end work they promise to their customers.


The pay rate for this job is $16 - $20 / hour

Responsibilities


  • Position or tighten braces, jacks, clamps, ropes, or bolt straps of bolt parts in positions for welding or riveting
  • Lay out, position, align, and fit together fabricated parts of structural metal products
  • Set up face block, jigs, and fixtures Locate and mark centerlines and reference points onto floor or face block and transpose them to work piece, using tape, chains, plumb bob, and squares
  • Read blueprints and specification to determine the scope of work: location, quantities, and sizes of materials required


Qualifications


  • At least 2 years of commercial Pipefitting experience
  • Have a valid driver's license
  • Must successfully pass a background check High School
