JOB SUMMARY

The primary objective of this position is to manually pull individual pieces and ensure correct quantities, styles, sizes, and colors are being shipped to customers. This position reports to the warehouse supervisor.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILTIES

• Scan into the order label and go to the location. Make sure the picture and location match what is on your RF scanner. Scan into the location and verify the pick location is correct
• Count out the required amount of garments from the location that is listed on the RF scanner, viewing the garments to makes sure the labels and colors have no discrepancies.
• There will be requirements of picking case pulls instead of piece picking. You will follow the same instructions. The one thing that is different is instead of counting the product out, you will just pick the full carton. It will be shut, so there will be no need to count or check the product.
• Check your label to verify how the order is shipping. UPS, UPSM, UPSS, UPSP, FEDEX, LTL.
• Place the garments into the carton/bag, close out the pick on your RF scanner. Take the box/bag to the correct shipping location (UPS, UPSM, UPSS, UPSP, FEDEX, and LTL).

REQUIREMENTS

• Perform other duties as assigned
• Basic verbal and written communication skills with ability to read and write English.
• Lifting and carrying up to 55 lbs.
• Proper footwear (non-skid soles) not open toe or back.
• Constant visual and hearing attention.
• Sense of safety awareness
• Work within a team of people performing different and/or the same tasks.
• Basic mathematics skills.
• Work overtime as assigned.

Pallets- Occasional usage

Miscellaneous clerical items – daily usage

Manual pallet jack- Occasional usage

Cart- Daily usage

RF Scanner- Daily usage

Walkie-Talkie- Daily usage

Easy Cut 2000N Cutter w/ Holster & Lanyard- Daily usage

WORKING CONDITIONS

• Physical environment includes noise, heat, cold, dust, dirt, and fumes.
• Standing, walking, lifting, pushing, pulling, squatting, stooping, crouching, bending, reaching above the shoulders, twisting, crawling, and kneeling, as needed.
• Working in high traffic areas.

Additional Requirements: GED/HS Diploma, Drug Screen, Back Ground Check – no felonies, violent/domestic charges
