Physician Assistant (PA) - Inpatient Adult Orthepaedic division. This is a new position will be a 4 day a week position managing the inpatient adult patients. Responsibilities include providing pre and post-surgical care, rounding, placing orders and expediting discharges with a multidisciplinary team. This position is essential to maintaining optimal patient care, patient safety standards.
Shifts: 10-hour day shifts; no weekends
Qualifications:
- No PA work experience required
- Provider Enrollment, Chain and Ownership Systems (PECOS) enrollment required
- Licensed by the MD Board of Physicians.
- Completion of an AMA approved Physician Assistance Program
- Board certified or (certification eligible for new Graduate PA) by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants
- BLS Health Care Provider CPR certification required: AHA or Red Cross accepted
- Maryland CDS and Federal DEA (must have applied prior to starting if new graduate)
