Job Description

Description

General Summary: A nonexempt position responsible for preparing and cleaning treatment areas, procurement and inventory of supplies, transporting, positioning and in general assisting patients, therapists and assistants in the successful completion of the treatment plan as assigned by Director.

Position: Full-time

Hours: M-F: 6:45a – 3:45p (no nights or weekens, off major holidays)

Starting pay: $15.50/hr

Essential Job Responsibilities:

  • Prepares patient for prescribed treatment and assists professional staff with patient treatment.
  • Transports patients as needed.
  • Communicates with patients, families, significant other and members of the health care team to promote maximum benefits from care.
  • Obtains equipment, materials and supplies from storage areas or appropriate department, and prepares them for use.
  • Scheduling of patient appointments.
  • Responsible for the procurement and inventory of supplies.

Education: Associate’s degree in a business-related field preferred.

Experience: One year of job-related experience preferred.
