Photographer & Content Specialist Jobs

Boka Restaurant Group is currently seeking a Photographer & Content Specialist to join our team!
ABOUT THE POSITION:
*Full Time - will consider part time applications as well*
This in-house photography and content position will support the creative team of the Marketing Department by organizing and executing photo and video shoots with restaurant teams and event personnel, and by editing and delivering high quality photos and videos afterward in a timely manner. This role will also aid the social team of the Marketing Department by supporting TikTok and Instagram Reel creation as needed. Working directly with the Chefs and Service Teams – giving you a chance to truly understand the 'vibe' and create something that fits each unique space/restaurant you visit. You will work from our corporate offices on the second level of Momotaro in Fulton Market and bounce to our multiple restaurants in the West Loop, River North, Wrigleyville and more! As we continue to expand you will find yourself in other parts of the city of Chicago, spending time documenting the development of our newest restaurants & bars.
Our ideal candidate is multi-faceted, with the ability to create unique food and interior photo/video content for social media (TikTok, Instagram and Facebook) and ad hoc marketing projects. We would love to find an individual who can prioritize and understand the business’s unique needs, style, and aesthetic.

Responsibilities are as follows:

• Work closely with the creative team and Marketing Department and to ensure that content/strategy aligns with the goals and brand guidelines of each business
• Supporting other content and marketing efforts as needed
• Create photo/video promotional materials for use by social media, digital marketing, event sales, and other efforts.
• Shoot and edit photography and video content for Boka Restaurant Group's restaurant brands and concepts

Qualifications are as follows:

• Excellent collaboration skills; inclined towards creative problem solving and organization
• Hospitality or restaurant experience a plus
• Food and beverage photography experience and portfolio; event and interior photography experience a plus; food styling experience a plus
• Videography experience and portfolio
• Highly organized; comfortable setting and meeting deadlines that are self determined or decided in collaboration with others
• Familiarity with Chicago’s hospitality scene a plus
• Familiarity with Asana, Dropbox, or other task and file organizational software
• Familiarity with content creation for social media; portfolio of content a huge plus
• Skills with Adobe Illustrator and InDesign a plus
• 3+ years of photography, videography, and editing experience
• Photo and video editing skills; proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and other editing software
• Experience working with multiple brands or clients simultaneously a plus
• Efficient and professional communication skills, both written and verbal
