Responsibilities

The Mail Operations Pharmacy Technician 2 is responsible for researching and updating clarifications and denials on patient profiles. They are responsible for making or taking phones calls to and from providers and patients. Decisions are typically focused on interpretation of area/department policy and methods for completing assignments. In this role, you will:

• Follow up on new prescription requests and transfers
• Make outbound calls to providers & retail pharmacies

You must have the ability to solve problems and encourage others in collaborative problem solving. You must be self-directed, but also able to work well in a group, have a positive and proactive attitude.

Schedule: 10:30 AM - 7:00 PM CST

Role Essentials

Candidates for this position must have the following skills:

• Strong data entry skills
• Experience using multiple computer applications simultaneously
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Must have an active Pharmacy Technician License in Texas, Ohio, Florida, or Arizona
• A positive, proactive attitude with a passion for customer service
• 1+ years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician in a retail, mail order or hospital pharmacy

Role Desirables

Inbound/outbound call experience in any pharmacy setting a plus
