Job Title: Personal Lines Account Manager- HighNet Worth Clients experience preferred

Salary Range: $70-90K


Job Summary:


Responsible for managing day-to-day servicing of assigned portion of book of personal lines business through providing exceptional and innovative customer service and facilitating relationships between our firm, insurance carrier representatives and clients.


Primary Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Provide various administrative and technical tasks in order to adequately support clients.
  • Perform certain overlapping duties associated with the Assistant Account Manager position as needed
  • Timely and accurate reporting of claims which could include: reporting matters to applicable carriers, coordination of carrier communication, assignment of defense counsel, adjuster assignment, evaluation of coverage, and guidance to the insured throughout the claim process.
  • Work closely with clients to ensure their protected through our innovative and comprehensive insurance products.
  • Design, prepare and recommend insurance proposals for new and renewal business.
  • Resolve client issues and seek management involvement when needed.
  • Frequently arrange and attend meetings with clients and insurance carrier representatives, often accompanied by a supervisor but sole attendance is also required at times.
  • Regularly exercise discretion and independent judgment on significant accounts including but not limited to collecting and analyzing information regarding the client and assisting in product and pricing determinations, negotiating premiums, coverage enhancements, retention levels and premiums on behalf of the client
  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned by Management, President or other Senior team members.
  • Converse with clients and insurance carrier representatives regarding policy renewals, policy amendments, coverage terms, and conditions, certificates of insurance, and other insurance-related matters.
  • Approach prospective clients and acquire new business through the penetration of existing clients. Discuss, suggest, and present new coverage line options to existing clients as needed
  • Maintain thorough knowledge regarding the insurance industry in general, the specific coverage lines offered by the company, as well as the company’s business practices and procedures.

Job Qualifications:


Education/Certifications:


  • Possess and maintain a valid California Fire and Casualty License
  • Minimum high school graduate or equivalent.


Required Knowledge:


  • Understanding of business service functions, insurance terminology and various lines of personal lines insurance.
  • Knowledge of Agency Management Systems is preferred


Experience Required:


  • Minimum 5years of insurance experience (Personal Insurance - High Net Worth preferred)


Skills/Abilities:


  • Possess ability to learn new, varied skills and activities.
  • Well-organized and attentive to detail.
  • Ability to coordinate multiple projects and adhere to deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to use PC, printer, scanners, phones, and basic business equipment.
  • Excellent customer service, verbal communication and listening skills and the ability to deal effectively across all levels of the business organization.
  • Excellent written and email correspondence skills.
  • Work well in a team atmosphere.
  • Ability to maintain a professional and courteous relationship with all employees, clients and clients vendors
  • Use software programs: Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat


Work Environment:


This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, cell phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and Fax Machines. Remote or hybrid working environment may be considered


Position Type/Expected Hours of Work


Full Time Position – 40 hour work week- Open to Remote


Travel is minimal, although some out-of-area and overnight travel may be expected
