Are you looking to make a difference in the lives of individuals with disabilities? We are looking to hire several personal care workers for a young men and women with intellectual disabilities, medical needs, and/or behavioral needs. As a daily living skills staff, you will assist clients in their day to day activities including personal care, implementing behavior interventions when needed, supporting the client to communicate their wants and needs, and supporting them during leisure and recreational activities. Daily living skills staff will mostly support the clients in their home; however, community support will be needed as well.

Job Responsibilities:

• Communication support
• Medication administration (if needed)
• Reporting changes in the physical, mental, and emotional conditions of client to relevant parties
• Personal cares including, but not limited to: diapering, feeding, bathing, changing, and overall personal hygiene.
• Light housekeeping
• Behavior management
• Support leisure and recreational activities
• Meal prep

Job Requirements:

• Prior experience working with individuals with communication and/or behavioral needs (preferred)
• Ability to walk a significant distance
• Ability to lift 25 pounds
• Valid driver's license and access to an insured and reliable vehicle
• Compassionate, level headed, and strong communication skills
• High school diploma or GED
• Available to work irregular hours, including night shift, weekends, and holidays
