Per Diem RN
Summary:
In conjunction with the HC Clinical Manager and the Practice Manager oversees clinical staff, including staffing needs, assignment of duties, evaluations and education. Delivers patient care including assessment, treatment, care planning, evaluation and education. Coordinates patient care activities in accordance with individual patient needs, physician orders, and MDIH Health Centers Policies and Procedures. Participates in programs and committees to monitor, improve and evaluate clinical quality.

Requirements:Education, Training or Certifications Required:
- ACLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain within 1 year.
- Healthcare Provider BLS certification.
- RN with Current ME licensure.
- PALS certification preferred or willingness to obtain within 1 year.
Experience Required:
- Strong leadership and team building skills required.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively and positively interact with a multi-disciplinary staff, patients, and others.

- Ability to work with distressed or anxious patients or family members required.

- Ability to prioritize and follow through.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- High performance in stressful situations.
Physical Demands:
- Must be physically able to perform CPR.
- Must be able to lift and carry 25-50 pounds.
- Must have adequate hearing, vision and manual dexterity.
- Must be able to stand, walk and bend up to 8 hours per day.
- Ability to assist patients in rising from exam table, push wheelchair patients and assist patients in rising from and returning to wheelchair.
