Shriners Children’s, the premier pediatric burn, orthopaedic, spinal cord injury, cleft lip and palate, and pediatric subspecialties medical center, has an opportunity for a Pediatric Registered Nurse to join our Outpatient Clinic team.

Shriners Children's Portland is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Outpatient Clinic! The successful candidate is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the delivery of family-centered care to patients and family. This position provides the highest possible level of comprehensive care to the Outpatient Clinic. Includes a combination of charge nurse duties along with the telephone triage and direct patient care duties.

• Proficient computer and EMR skills
• Orthopedic experience preferred
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) is required
• Minimum two years of nursing experience in a pediatric setting preferred
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing is required or must be able to obtain BSN within 2 years of hire
• PEAR, PALS, ACLS Obtain within 1 year of employment as required by hospital
• Current RN licensure in the State of Oregon
• Experience working in an Outpatient Clinic is preferred
