Evolve Healthcare is seeking a Primary Care Physician for a 13 week contract at the Stanley Correctional Institute in Stanley WI. SCI is a medium-security institution for adult males with an operating capacity of 1500. SCI is built on 100 acres, just south of Stanley and Hwy 29. There are 45 acres within the perimeter of the facility and the outside perimeter measures 1.1 miles.

POSITION SUMMARY: Under the general supervision of the Physician Supervisor, the Institution Physician is responsible for professional medical services to inmates in accordance with standards of practice in Corrections and Community standards, and the Bureau of Health Services Policies, Procedures and Standards. In general, the Physician attends to the medical needs of inmates, diagnosing and treating illness and injuries and arranging for professional consultation when warranted; supervises, in conjunction with the Health Service Manager, the development and implementation of treatment protocols and patient flow charts.

Schedule is Mon-Fri Days; 40 hours per week-no weekends/no call/no nights. 5x8s or 4x10s will be considered. Contract duration is 26 weeks with a projected start date of 9/11/23.

Compensation is $6,500 gross per week including a tax free housing and meal allowance of $1,099 -paid every Friday. W2 hourly rate is $135/hr.

Required:

• 1 year of experience
• Maintain current Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) Certification
• Must be licensed in the state of WI
• Primary Care Physician must be a Medical Doctor or Doctor of Osteopathy (M.D./D.O.)
• Maintain Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
