Job Description

The Role


As the Payroll Coordinator you will be responsible for processinh our payroll, but also get to work with employee benefits, L&I, and much more. If you are interested in working with an accounting that has a mixture of hands-on and data entry work then apply today!

Payroll Duties
  • Maintaining inventory schedules for materials, small tools, fiber mesh and zip strips.
  • Scheduling random and new hire drug testing.
  • New hires, terminations, and changes.
  • Bank Reconciliations.
  • Maintaining personnel files and records.
  • Processing biweekly reports for approximately 55 employees. Including vouchers, timesheets, check and direct deposits, reconciliations, and payroll taxes.
  • Managing, updating, and tracking employee enrollment benefit packages including Health Insurance, Dental, Vision, 401(k), and Life Insurance.
  • Scheduling CPR training.
  • Managing copies of off-roading fuel receipts to AP for recapture of tax.
  • Conducting reports for crew lists, commissions, vacation times, child support, HSA, L&I, employee reviews, and OSHA.
  • Maintain current driver and auto insurance lists.
  • Year End Processing (W2)


Requirements


  • Ten-key by touch.
  • Minimum of 1 year payroll experience with knowledge of payroll taxes and liabilites.
  • Minimum 3 years of recent accounting experience in an office environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and time management.
  • Computer literate, fluent in MS Office and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Must demonstrate assertive and attentive communication skills, both written and verbal.


Preferred


  • Experience with Sage 300 CRE
