About the Role

Conduent is seeking a Payment Card Industry (PCI) SME/ Information Security Engineer. The PCI SME will have primary responsibility for leading and coordinating the PCI compliance for assigned clients and will own the overall success of the PCI compliance of the assigned portfolio.
The person in this role will be the primary point of contact on PCI subject matter expertise.

Responsibilities

The responsibilities for the PCI SME/Information Security Engineer are as follows:
  • Coordinating timely remediation of any gaps noted during the RoC review and the annual Attestation of Compliance (AoC).
  • Coordinating activities of the QSA and Conduent departments, during the RoC review process.
  • Producing the Annual Report on Compliance (RoC)
  • Reporting PCI compliance status on a regular basis to Program Sponsors and key stakeholders.
  • Staying current on PCI DSS requirements, best practices, and industry trends
  • Providing expertise as needed in scope reviews of assigned IT environments during Plan, Design, and Pre-deployment, deployment, and operations phases.
  • Working with risk Management and compliance manager to ensure that PCI requirements for CDE environment segmentation, hardening, and use of security tools are in compliance.
  • Managing the relationship and contract with the external Qualified Security Assessor (QSA) and the PCI Subject Matter Expert (SME) advisor.
  • Facilitating an annual, semi-annual, quarterly, monthly review and approval of all PCI evidence.
  • Ensuring ongoing compliance
  • Verifying through periodic validation and approval of evidence and keep content current on the PCI Governance on SharePoint tool.

Requirements

  • Experience in the IT industry.
  • Have organizational and proactive planning skills.
  • Have the ability to work in a fluid environment with changing deadlines.
  • Have the ability to drive team to key milestones.
  • Possess an intermediate level of proficiency with Microsoft Office products including SharePoint.
  • Have an understanding of PCI-DSS 3.2.1.
  • Ability to work effectively in a matrixed environment across multiple departments.
  • Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Possess a Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field (e.g., Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or Public Policy) or equivalent combination of education and years of experience.
  • 3+ years of progressively responsible work involving project management and policy analysis.

For this position, actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. In addition to base pay, this position, based on business need, may be eligible for a bonus or incentive. In addition, Conduent provides a variety of benefits to employees including health insurance coverage, voluntary dental and vision programs, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO) or vacation or sick time. The estimated salary range for this role is $ 105,875 – $137,500.
