Patient Transporter Jobs

Sentara is currently hiring a Patient Transporter to work at Sentara Obici Hospital located in Suffolk, Va.

Hours/Shift:

Full-time Days

Department/Position Overview:

Safely escorts and transports patients within all areas of the hospital using safe body mechanics. Strictly adheres to all safety rules and initiatives of Sentara. Communicates clearly with all staff, visitors, and patients. Ensures adequate communication of information between central transport and other departments.

Job Requirements:

• Required: High School Grad or Equivalent
• Required: Communication, Technology/Computer experience
• Preferred: Patient Care experience
• Required: Basic Life Support
