Role Overview

The CrewBoss Order Entry Clerk is responsible for processing incoming work orders to ensure product is manufactured according to customer order and ensure production schedule supports company promise of on-time delivery. Focus, accuracy, and efficiency are key skill sets for this position.This person will work to develop and maintain relationships with direct customers, and distributors of CrewBoss products by aiding them with product and pricing questions, responding to order requests, entering and revising orders as needed, and enhancing customers overall experience with the company. They are expected to provide product knowledge and ensure customer satisfaction in all areas of the business. This position reports to the CrewBoss Director of Sales.


Responsibilities

  • Build and sustain relationships with customers focusing on long-term relationships. Evaluate customer satisfaction following order execution in a timely and professional manner
  • Work with R&D on new product and custom orders
  • Review data for errors and correct prior to order going into production
  • Collaborate with marketing, production and shipping to ensure fulfillment and accuracy of customer orders
  • Work with Planner/Scheduler to provide delivery dates and order updates
  • Recommend Process improvements
  • Perform accurate and timely input of customer orders into ERP system
  • Maintain detailed knowledge of company products
  • Verify info in ERP system matches PO
  • Process orders according to scheduler and notify appropriate parties
  • Other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements

  • Working frequently at close visual range (i.e. preparing and analyzing data and figures, transcription, computer terminal, extensive reading).
  • Engaging in repetitive movements of wrists, hands, and fingers typing and/or writing.
  • Ability to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.


Qualifications

  • Strong attention to detail and determination toward accuracy
  • High level of integrity and professional ethics
  • Experience working with ERP system preferred
  • Microsoft Office required
  • Excellent oral/written communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
