Data Entry Assistant, Philanthropy World Learning


Location: Brattleboro, VT


Term of Employment: Part Time, hourly (16 hours/week), non-benefited


General Description:


The Data Entry Assistant is a 16-hour a week position that is primarily responsible for performing data entry, database maintenance, and data integrity within the Philanthropy office. Working in a team environment, the Data Entry Assistant will work with the Philanthropy team to ensure that data is entered in a standardized manner.


Specific Responsibilities:


  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Work with the Philanthropy Team to ensure data integrity and quality.
  • Conduct data entry-related tasks.
  • Provide routine office support.
  • Assist with filing, mailing and historical data archival tasks.
  • Enter and maintain data in the department's customer relationship management database, Salesforce.


Required Qualifications:


  • Successful experience in handling multiple tasks.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • 2-3 years of office experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Database experience with accurate keyboarding skills and software literacy.


Preferred Qualification:


  • Be well-organized, self-motivated, and attentive to detail.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Have strong computer skills, with a preference for Microsoft Office and database experience (preferably Salesforce).
  • Exhibit flexibility.
