Summary


This position will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory of parts, and distributing them to the vehicle processing departments as needed. In addition, this position will operate forklifts as necessary.


Responsibilities
  • Distribute requested parts to corresponding departments
  • Identify and collect required requested parts used on vehicle processing departments.
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Organize storage locations and keep parts containers consolidated
  • Fill empty processing totes as needed
  • Evaluate and determine priorities when filling totes of parts for processing departments and specific kit to be built.
  • Keep all parts containers in warehouse identified with all pertinent inventory information.
  • Maintain accurate inventory information on parts containers
  • Must willfully perform other tasks as instructed by leadership
  • Maintain housekeeping standards.
  • Distribute parts to processing departments

Skills


  • Organizational skill and high attention to detail
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask


Education & Experience


  • Forklift Certification required
  • High School Diploma/GED
  • 2 years of experience preferred
  • 1 year of experience required


Physical Requirements


  • Repetitive use of hand/grasping product, writing, and typing
  • Must be comfortable operating heavy machinery such as buck loader
  • Lift up to 25 lbs.
  • Stand/walk
  • Ability to sit in front of a desk and/or in front of the computer for long periods
  • Carry up to 25 lbs.
  • Must be comfortable working at heights (e.g., upper decks of rail cars)
