Job Description

Eaton’s VEH Vehicle Group division is currently seeking a Parts Solution Manager. .

The expected annual salary range for this role is $110603.7 - $162218.76 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.

What you’ll do:


Strategy development, execution, and management of assigned territory to achieve Vehicle Group North America Aftermarket business objectives. More specifically, the Parts Solutions Manager’s (PSM) role is structured within the Aftermarket organization to grow Aftermarket commercial truck part sales; responsible for establishing and maintaining excellent relationships with key customers in the assigned territory including fleets, independent distributors, rebuilders, dealers, body builders, mobile hydraulic OEM’S and independent service garages.


Essential Functions:


A. Develop and implement business plans to support territory, region, and division objectives.
B. Establish the following internal reports on customer activities:
1. Reports for the following sales activities wins & losses, target product metrics, sales probabilities, barriers to sales efforts, accounts at risk, etc.
2. Utilize customer contact report (CCRs) to communicate the following: desired product enhancements, current product performance issues, competitive activity, market trends, etc.
C. Assess customer requirements and identify unique needs at targeted accounts.
D Develop, implement, manage territory product support strategies for new and existing aftermarket products. Maintain customer and expanded channel customer (such as IAM) relationships and ensure our customers will want to do more business with Eaton Vehicle Group.
E. Collaborate across all business organizations including technical services, call center, material planning, pricing, finance, and others to facilitate customer issue resolution.
G. Evaluate and recommend incentive requirements, utilizing market intelligence, and administer incentive processes to ensure that we provide the best value to our customers
H. Manage the market introduction of new products to ensure products are adopted quickly to achieve sales objectives.
I. Gather business intelligence from customers and provide voice of the customer (VOC) back to the organization.
K. Conduct Customer Relationship Reviews (CRRs) to facilitate continuous improvement of Aftermarket products and support the Eaton Business System (EBS) process.
L. Provide product, service, and warranty training to customers.

N. Promote Eaton content in the Independent Aftermarket (IAM), OEM Dealer Channel, regional fleets, and Industry events.


Qualifications:


Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
Minimum of 2 years’ experience working for a commercial manufacturing or automotive distribution
Minimum of 3 years of Class 8 Heavy Truck experience - within sales, services, parts or other areas of the business.
Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
Legally authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship, on an ongoing basis.


Skills:


Preferred/Additional Specialized Knowledge (not required to be qualified for position):
Eaton Fuller product or comparable product experience with a focus on service, application, and support
Proven “Value Selling” skills
Specialized knowledge of business aspects of the trucking industry
Experience negotiating, delivering training, and developing business plans
