Sells industry related parts over the counter, phone, email or in person while providing superior customer service to all customers.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Maintains accurate records of all repair orders, invoices, insurance estimates and special order parts.
  • Inspects cores and processes monthly returns to vendors.
  • Providing accurate and timely price quotes and other parts-related information to customers.
  • Coordinates and processes orders for shipment, delivery or pick-up.
  • Issues credit for returned goods.
  • Reviews open-order reports and closes/voids invoices within 60 days.
  • Makes outbound sales calls as required.
  • Up-sells customers with related parts.
  • Responsible for developing and growing accounts as assigned.
  • Participates in all training programs that are made available and keeps current on new products and product updates.
  • Pulls orders for customers and helps load parts into vehicles.
  • Inventory responsibility to include cycle counts, out-of-stock notifications to management, out-of-stock materials locating and ordering when needed, assigned out-of-stock replenishments, back-ordered and will-call parts follow-up.
  • Makes informed decisions regarding credit assuring to comply with credit guidelines provided by company.
  • Other duties to meet business needs.
  • Assists internal and external customers in obtaining required parts in a friendly, professional manner.
  • Stays connected to other employees and customers through the use of email, voicemail as well as other forms of communication.
ESSENTIAL EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 6 months plus automotive or truck parts experience
KEY ATTRIBUTES / SKILLS / CHARACTERISTICS:

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Truck dealership experience
  • High school diploma or GED
