Catapult Learning is looking for a part time certified NJ virtual teacher to positively impact a child’s education at Sprout U School of the Arts in Trenton, NJ. The teacher will be responsible for providing educational programs and establish a class environment that fosters learning and personal growth. This part time position is about 2-3 days a week, with about 10-15 hours per week, with a pay range of $30-32/hr. This position is virtual with potential to become in person teaching position. We are looking for an experience teacher who is comfortable with the basic skills, reading and math) for grades K-12.

Essential duties and responsibilities include the following:

• Ensures supervision of students at all times, including escorting students safely to and from classroom or to mobile/trailer classroom.
• Maintains inventory of educational materials and supplies.
• Establishes and maintains student forms and files as required by Company, local, state, and/or federal agencies.
• Develops and maintains individualized skill-appropriate lesson plans.
• Other duties may be assigned.
• Attends and documents conferences/meetings/trainings with Supervisors, classroom teachers, principals, and parents as required by the Company, local, state, and/or federal agencies.
• Attends training sessions, passes content assessment, and delivers designated instructional models and strategies in readiness, reading, mathematics, and/or writing skills to eligible students through utilization of Company-designed materials and educational strategies.
• Willing to teach ESL to students, if needed.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

• Proficient in MS Office, OneDrive, Zoom, etc.
• Active NJ teaching certificate K-12 is preferred
• Catapult Learning employees are subject to state and local licensure and pre-employment screening.

PHYSICAL ENVIRONMENT/WORKING CONDITIONS:

Light lifting, walking, climbing stairs. Most programs are in school settings.
