Job Description

Urban You is seeking a licensed lash artist for all locations in Northville, MI. This position has flexible hours, Monday-Saturday at a fast-growing company.

The ideal candidate

  • Participates in continuing education in areas included but not limited to lash extension theory and technique, eye health, sanitation, application, styling, and lash aftercare
  • Is experienced in Classic, Hybrid, and Volume lash extensions and fills
  • Has an up-to-date online portfolio on social media
  • Is experienced in Lash Lift & Tint procedures

Requirements

  • Attend all mandatory meetings and trainings
  • Follow all safety and infection control procedures before, during, and after services
  • Follow established service protocols to ensure a consistent and exceptional guest experience
  • Weekly submissions of adequate before and after images
  • Proficiency to demonstrate, recommend and sell skincare products to reach monthly sales goals
  • Weekly posting on professional Instagram page (portfolio)
  • Support the execution of in-store events that deliver guest experience while delivering sales goals
  • Ability to work independently and as a team
  • Ensure you are guest-ready at all times - from your uniform and appearance to your treatment room being clutter-free, fully stocked and set up for the days’ services ahead
  • Proficiency with the use of equipment and skincare machinery needed to perform services
  • Acquire the highest level of knowledge of each service we offer as a business to stimulate cross-sales

Part Time Technology & Marketing Coordinator Internship 2023

We are looking for a talented Technology and Marketing Intern to join our Urban You Team.

As The Urban You’s Technology and Marketing Intern, you will help achieve streamlined and effective methods of business transactions, data integration and marketing through technology platforms including but not limited to Zenoti, SquareSpace, Wordpress, Apple Developer, Klaviyo and Photo RX.

Responsibilities

  • Enterprise Risk Management (ERM)
  • Point of Sale
  • Web and app development
  • Data integration
  • Monitor and stay on top of emerging trends in technology and marketing.
  • Digital marketing
  • Research projects on key industry trends and competitive insights.


Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program
  • Strong interest or a minor in Marketing
  • Preferably in a Technology or Computer Science major
  • Hybrid position partial remote, partial on location (Ada, MI)
  • Spring/Summer 2023
  • Minimum of three (3) month commitment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • 10-20 Hours per week
  • Must have access to smartphone and computer
  • Flexible hours
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment while working effectively and collaboratively with others
