Job Description
What to Expect

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Part Runner to join our team. As a Part Runner, your primary responsibility will be to efficiently retrieve and deliver parts and components within our organization. You will play a crucial role in supporting our operational efficiency and ensuring seamless workflow across departments. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.

What You’ll Do
  • Conduct periodic inspections to identify and report any damaged or defective parts.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding part handling, confidentiality, and security.
  • Follow established safety protocols and guidelines while handling and transporting parts.
  • Retrieve and deliver parts and components as requested by various departments within the organization.
  • Collaborate with other team members to prioritize and execute tasks in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for part deliveries or returns.
  • Assist in organizing and maintaining the part storage area to ensure efficient retrieval and storage.
  • Maintain accurate records of parts movement, including logging pick-ups and deliveries.
  • Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with the inventory team to ensure an adequate supply of parts is available.
What You’ll Bring
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record as well as qualify for DOT certification.
  • Previous experience in a similar role or familiarity with parts inventory management is preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Excellent time management and prioritization abilities.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with team members across different departments.
  • Proficient in using basic computer applications and inventory management software.
  • Physical fitness and ability to lift and carry heavy parts, as required.
