PRIMARY PURPOSE:

As a Parking Attendant, you will set the stage for the guest experience with your welcoming smile and service. By understanding their unique stories and needs, you will own their experience to create WOW memories they will carry with them far and beyond their stay with us.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Warmly greet all arriving guests at the Valet Entrance while providing courteous, efficient, and enthusiastic valet parking services.
  • Answer guest questions about hotel registration, restaurants, events, activities, and attractions.
  • Resolve guest problems within the scope of authority, otherwise refer to the supervisor on duty.
  • Report all alleged thefts or missing items to the supervisor and/or hotel security for further investigation.
  • Accommodate guests requiring special assistance and aid.
  • Assist in regulating the movement and flow of vehicles to avoid traffic congestion.
  • Report issues and/or potential problems to security or immediate supervisor to avoid traffic congestion and delays at the valet entrance.
  • Assist bell persons with the movement of luggage as necessary.
  • Collect a vehicle claim check and retrieve the guest’s vehicle for their departure.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

  • Excellent customer service skills and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all business contacts.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.

PREFERRED:

  • Two (2) years of experience working in service-related positions.
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience working in a similar resort setting.
  • Bilingual
