Paraprofessionals Jobs

Paraprofessionals work 1:1 with students of all ages with special needs on the school bus or in the classroom to support the educational and behavioral goals as listed on the students IEP.Job responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

• Document daily student observations and behaviorsJob Requirements:
• 2 Para Certificates ($18 out of pocket cost. Applicants without para certificates are welcome to apply).
• 2 Reference Letters
• Drug Screen (8-10 panels within 1 year)
• Covid Vaccination (it is mandatory that all paras are fully vaccinated)- Booster not required
• Up to $800 per weekEducation:High school or equivalent (Required)
• Guide students to maintain routines and transition to different tasks throughout the day
• Collaborate with parents, teachers, and support staff to ensure students needs are being met
• Medicals
• Social Security Card
• Orientation (you will be scheduled for in-person orientation at our Brooklyn location once the required documents are submitted, we DO NOT offer orientation at other locations.)Salary:
• Assist the student to stay focused with the lesson plan
• ID Card (passport, permanent resident, driver’s license, learners permit, benefit card, etc.)
• DOE Fingerprints – $102 out of pocket fee
