Painter - Apartment Maintenance

As a Painter and apartment maintenance, you play an integral role in creating and maintaining the quality apartments for our residents to call home for years to come. You will work with our maintenance team to ensure a 'like new' appearance in our apartment buildings. To be successful in this role you must be reliable, detail oriented, and communicate effectively. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
The following description of work to be performed by this individual is not intended to be all-inclusive. Rather, it focuses on the major tasks that must be accomplished. There are many necessary activities to satisfy any of the following performance guidelines.
Responsabilities

• Stay current on safety standards and procedures, communicate to team, & ensure compliance
• Quality control ensuring the job is done well and accurately
• Ability to operate extension ladders and are comfortable with heights
• Painting using brush and roller
• Accurately prep for painting walls, doors, and trim
• Cleaning and general maintenance repairs
• Drywall patching and repairing

Requirements
Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• Experience with drywall patching and painting
• Comfortable with ladders & heights
• Ability to lift 50-75 pounds as needed
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Cleaning and general maintenance repairs
• Proficient in using tools such as brushes and rollers
• 1+ year of painting experience

Other Requirements

• Ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend English
• Must pass criminal background check
• A Can-do attitude
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle with proper insurance
