Job Description
Description/Job Summary


  • Ensure finished product is packaged and labeled properly for shipment.
  • Produce the highest quality product meeting the customer specifications.
  • Must have regular, reliable attendance and willing to work outside the regular schedule as required.
  • Continually inspects and monitors quality according to customer specifications. When product is out of specification notify Operator/ QC Technician or Sr. Lead.
  • Follow all plant and safety policies, SQF (Food Safety), THM and Housekeeping.
  • Reports to Plant Manager.
  • Willing to handle job stress and interact with others in the workplace.


Responsibilities/Duties
  • Must learn bag, print and packaging quality checks.
  • Reports to line operator on production status.
  • Must learn and perform proper packing, stacking, and labeling techniques.
  • Any other duties or responsibilities as deemed necessary by Sr. Lead/ Supervisor.
  • Responsible with line operator for meeting or exceeding production standards.
  • Pass all Master Training courses with minimum score of 80.
  • Monitors production and packaging equipment and operates in accordance to instructions.
  • Keeps all assigned work areas clean and safe.
  • Must learn packing table control panel and operate controls correctly.
  • Complies with all written and verbal safety rules, SQF (Food Safety) and procedures.
  • Must learn proper cutting and lifting techniques and perform each safely.
  • Must learn basic knowledge of bag making process and be able to explain.
  • Must learn to read and understand production instructions.
  • Must learn to understand and fill out production ticket correctly.


Preferred Experience
  • Mechanical aptitude preferred
  • Previous production experience


Preferred Education High School Diploma or GED Equivalent Required Qualifications
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
