Position as packaging technician in Apple hardware division focusing on flex attach, fine mechanical assembly and wire bonding.

Key Qualifications

  • Flexible to work in multi-tasking environment on various projects in two different buildings.
  • Minimum 2 years working experience as packaging technician in electronics & optoelectronic industry.
  • Disciplined and strong attention to details.
  • Must be proficient in computers, Microsoft Essentials and Mac OS is a plus.
  • Display good data analysis, problem solving, and structured thinking.
  • Work in a clean room environment, wearing gowns, booties and gloves.
  • The role will require communication skills and willingness to work with teams spread across different organizations.
  • Able to plan and complete tasks on time.
  • Good at identifying problems, debugging and resolve issues were possible otherwise report them.
  • Must be hands on person with fine motor skills, good in doing mechanical assembly and put parts together.
  • Self motivated requiring minimal supervision after adequate training.
  • Experience in cleaning wafers using probe station station is a plus.

Description

Main responsibility is doing flex attach process using manual and semi-auto flex bonders. Knowledge or willingness to learn die attach, epoxy dispense/cure and wire bonding packaging skills. Responsible for doing fine mechanical assembly and inline metrology. Clean materials and work station before and after assembly process. Collaborate in cross-functional teams and pass down status to peers. Support and sustain different processes situated at different Apple sites. Keep materials and work station organized. Perform inventory of materials and make report for purchase request.

Education & Experience

Mechanical/Technical Certification OR equivalent minimum 2 years working experiences

The base pay range for this role is between $31.75 and $69.10/hr, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
